I am standing at one of the many Caucus sites (Republican for me) where I live in Eastern Iowa (Manchester Iowa). I brought my daughter so she could start to experience the political world in which I was introduced to at a young age by my mother.
It appears to be an incredible turnout tonight. 20 minutes to start and there are people in multiple lines still registering for their various precincts.
One person just announced that they are having to make more copies of the ballots due to the historic turnout.
