All I can say is… What a great time I had at the Delaware County VIP concert in Manchester Iowa. Wow!

The crowd has shifted forward to the few empty chairs left at the concert. This has been one of the best concerts I have attended-Delaware County Fair in Manchester Iowa-VIP night. What a blast. A full mix of music people and the atmosphere! You have to attend next year!!!

It was just, well relaxed and really fun!

Great concert! VIP tickets at Delaware County Fair = free refills beer during the entire concert… There are a lot of happy people in Manchester Iowa tonight!!!

At the Delaware County Fair in Iowa with my wife getting ready to listen to Eddie Monie tonight. Got VIP tickets for $50 bucks each! All the adult beverages and steak sandwiches are included! I love Iowa!

Happy 4th of July! In Monticello with family at the fireworks. They are to start in a little while. The weather has been wonderful today.

Spring has passed by quickly!

I am at the John Deere plant in Dubuque Iowa today with family. My father-in-law retired from the Dubuque John Deere plant and likes to visit the plant when there are special events. Today, the Dubuque John Deere plant is celebrating its sixty year anniversary.

The size of this facility always amazes me. Pictured is a view looking from one end to the other, it appears to go on forever. I have been told this building is around a mile long.

Today marks the annual trip to Asbury Iowa for their city wide garage sales My wife and mother-in-law have made this an annual event which then, by default, includes the attendance of my father-in-law as well as the kids and I. Depending on the weather, the kids and I will either ride bikes, walk or we end up being the official chauffeur 🙂

Today, we are playing the part of the chauffeur. It actually is not that bad. You get the opportunity to meet a lot of interesting people plus spend some good time with the family. It is interesting and somewhat amazing the things that people try to sell and what people really buy. What is the saying? One persons junk is another persons treasure.

Can’t believe it is Easter already.

Sitting in Church with family waiting for 10:30 mass to start.

I then remembered my last posting here was Christmas, so I thought I would wish anyone who visits this blog a happy Easter and a wonderful Spring.

I can’t believe it is almost the end of another year! I am sitting in church on Christmas eve waiting for the service to start, most of my wife’s family all here. Kids are excited, which is fun to watch. Well, I thought I would wish everyone in the blog world a very merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
