Saturday night I had the opportunity to experience accessing the Internet via dial up again. It has been about 6 months since the last time I had to use dial up as a replacement to broadband and I am very happy to state that I am back on high-speed access now posting this entry. I am glad that dial up is here to use in a pinch for instant messaging and email, but for almost anything else these days, I want faster access. I continue to wonder what it is going to take price wise for current dial up Internet users, who have the capability to get broadband, to actually purchase broadband and only use dial up in a pinch.
